Mitsubishi Motors displayed its four-passenger pure electric vehicle 'i MiEV' at the company's showroom in Tokyo, Japan, which is expected to be released on July 16th.
With its high-qualified electric motor and clever packaging, the i-MiEV offers an intelligent combination of useful performance with smooth acceleration control, plus a roomy interior and a sensible range of approximately 80 miles from its advanced lithium-ion battery pack.
It never exhausts CO2 at all because it is run by the Electric motor instead of an engine. Moreover, including some from electricity generation, i-MiEV can reduce up to 70% of CO2 comparing to usual electric cars. It can be simply charged by using general home electricity. In that case with 200v electricity, it takes 7 hours to charge and if you use quick charger, you can charge 80% in thirty minutes.
Suggested price is 4,599,000(JPY), much higher than gasoline cars but now Japanese Government offers subsidies in terms of eco-friendly car policy so Japanese people can buy this in 35% lower price.
