Policemen stabbed in his eye by a citizen

Last week, it happened that one combat policeman was stabbed in his eye by a bamboo spear. He got a terrible injury and mother brought a suit against the citizen who stabbed him.
At the end of last week, a big tragedy happened. The past president Moohyun No jumped out from a rocking stone when his guardian was looking at other passengers just for a moment and finally he died. His sudden death shocked all Koreans.
Before he died, he was called the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office for the investigation about what he did with the official money during his tenure as president.
Now people say that the investigation period made him weak physically and mentally inclined him to suicide. From yesterday, there has been a long row near Gyungbok Palace for a call of condolence and many people have been visiting including both members for his administration and present administration. But most of the main members from the present administration were not accepted by supporters for the past president and some members from the governing party were even pushed or hit by them. There will be a funeral ceremony for Mr. No and also the people of condolences until this week. There is a high possibility of offensive movement between people from both sides and definately more combat policemen will be stationed at important spots. That means there can be the same accident of a stabber with bamboo spear again. If it happens, this time there will be a huge movement to make some concrete rules for the safety of combat policemen and the conflict between safety of the policemen and the defense right of the civilian will be brought severely. The people working for public police agency or present government need to make realistic and considerate plan in advance to avoid this from happening again.

Golf Classic Win

Ji Young Oh of South Korea used a meticulous short game in the face of strong winds Sunday, shooting a final-round 70 to win the L.P.G.A.'s Sybase Classic. The 20-year-old Oh started out tied for the lead with Suzann Pettersen of Norway. But Pettersen had a rough day, slumping to a 74 with five bogeys, and Oh cruised to a four-stroke victory with a 72-hole score of 14-under 274. In the final round, 19-year-old Michelle Wie and 22-year-old Paula Creamer shot 73s on Upper Montclair Country Club's 6,413-yard, par-72 layout. Brittany Lincicome, 23, the second-round leader, fell off to a 77. Wie and Creamer tied for third at 280 and Lincicome tied for sixth at 282.
Oh's victory, her second on the tour, might have been somewhat surprising, though not to her. "From the first day, when I made a hole in one, I knew that the trophy was waiting for me," said Oh, whose careful 70 was bested in the final round only by the 68 shot by her countrywoman M. J. Hur. She had a bad spell when she three-putted on No. 8 for a bogey; put her ball behind a tree and escaped with a par on No. 9; and failed to reach the green on No. 10, taking another bogey. But she soon righted herself, finishing with seven straight pars and a birdie at No. 18. Pettersen missed the par-putt on No. 12 and failed to hold a trophy by losing out on 1 on both No. 17 and No. 18.

Introduction part of my story

This is a story that happened two years ago, when I was a sophomore. At that time, I was belonged to two different clubs of my university. One was workcamp club that I started when i was a freshmen and the other one was musical club started half a year later.
I had to study a lot and get good grades to have English literature major which was the most competitive. I also studied for JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) while studying for my major, and I had been thought the core of school life for university students was doing club activity. Actually what I wanted to do was something related to acting but I couldn't find anything attractive so I chose that workcamp club as the second best policy and spent busy freshman year as I planned.
One year passed and 2007 came. The start of new year was fantastic. I could have an English major just like I'd thought from high school period. I also passed the JLPT test and got certificate. In March, the first month of one semester, I got a call from my friend and was invited to see the Musical performance at the campus. I was free at that moment when the play began so I went to see it and it was amazing. I loved it so much, thinking about it. It made me apply for that musical club and finally I got into the club through several interviews and tests.
My old dream - doing club activity which is about play - came true. It was not just an usual play club but a musical club with proud records even though it was run by amaturers so it made me more excited.
Like this, I had lived fully doing both of club activities and studying what I wanted to study. About a month later, I got an interesting mail from my friend in different major. Her major was Korean literature but at the same time she was studying broadcasting with the most famous professor in media and broadcasting studies who was known as a prominent producer of TV shows. She asked me to be on some prize-giving quiz show of cable channel as one of the representatives of six clubs in our campus. I said yes just because it seemed fun but didn't know what was waiting for me at all.
